it's that time of year again..

seems to me that it was about this time one year ago that i was first posting to my blogger page. and here we are once again.

i'm currently planning another trip to europe, communism style. that's right folks, it's off to eastern europe, which is going to include a stop in budapest, hungary, then up to slovakia, swinging around poland, then over to ukraine. all in all, the trip is about 3 weeks - a nice amount of time. although i must admit the only hesitation i had about this trip is the weather. yup, definitely hitting up a part of the former soviet union during one of the coldest times of year. maybe i'll just get me one of those furry russian-style hats (you so know what i'm talking about. think george in the chicken roaster episode of seinfeld).

anyway, that's it for now. still in the early planning stages and trying to figure out what to see and do while i'm over there. all i know is that it promises to be an experience i won't soon forget.
